CAS 61791-24-2 Cardanol Polyoxyethylene Ether BGF Series Nonionic Surfactant for Industrial Emulsifier & Dispersant

Cardanol Polyoxyethylene Ether (Ethoxylated Cardanol, CAS 61791-24-2) is produced by ethoxylation reaction of natural cardanol extracted from cashew nut shell oil. Different grades (BGF-4/BGF-6/BGF-7/BGF-9/BGF-10) are available according to ethylene oxide mole addition. Different from petroleum-based alkylphenol surfactants, this bio-based product possesses long alkyl side chain and rigid benzene ring structure simultaneously. It delivers balanced surface activity and can be tailored to match diverse formulation demands. Widely applied as emulsifier, wetting agent, dispersant and grinding auxiliary. Applications

1. Coatings, Inks & Emulsion Polymerization

   Used as pigment dispersant, wetting agent and emulsifier for acrylic emulsion; improve pigment wetting and storage stability of color paste.

2. Textile Printing & Dyeing

   Serve as scouring agent, leveling agent, penetrant and synthetic fiber oil additive for textile pretreatment and dyeing process.

3. Industrial Cleaning & Metalworking Fluids

   Formulate low-foam industrial cleaners, metal cutting fluid, degreasing agent, enhance oil stain removal efficiency.

4. Agrochemical Industry

   Act as emulsifier and spreading agent for pesticide EC and EW formulations, boost liquid adhesion on crop surfaces.

5. Resin & Adhesive

   Work as modifier and wetting additive for epoxy resin, improve substrate adhesion and construction performance.

6. Oilfield & Other Fine Chemicals

Packaging, Storage & Transportation

Standard packing: 25kg plastic drum, 200kg iron drum; IBC tank available upon request. COA document provided for each batch.

Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid direct sunlight and heat source. Keep container tightly sealed to prevent oxidation and moisture absorption.

Classified as ordinary chemical goods, non-dangerous goods for shipping. Prevent inversion, heavy collision, rain and sun exposure during transport. Do not ship together with strong oxidants, strong acid and alkali.
