## Brief Product Introduction

SG-9 also named Polyoxyethylene (9) Stearate or PEG-9 Stearate, is stearic acid ethoxylate with 9 moles EO. It is white to pale yellow waxy solid at room temperature. It works as O/W emulsifier and thickener, compatible with anionic cationic and nonionic surfactants, widely used in personal care textile finishing and agrochemical formulations.

SG-9 Polyoxyethylene (9) Stearate CAS 9004-99-3, belongs to nonionic fatty acid ester surfactant. It appears as white to light yellow waxy flake solid at 25℃, HLB value about 11.6. This product features good emulsification thickening wetting and antistatic capacity, resistant to acid alkali and hard water, and can compound with most kinds of surfactants.

Applications

  1. Cosmetic industry: O/W emulsifier and thickener for cream lotion ointment and personal care products.

  2. Textile industry: fabric softener antistatic agent and spinning oil additive for synthetic fiber.

  3. Agrochemical field: emulsifier and dispersant for pesticide formulations.

  4. Industrial field: lubricant and emulsifying additive for polish and coating auxiliaries.

Packaging & Transportation

Packing: 50kg plastic drum or 200kg plastic drum. Custom packing is acceptable. This product is general chemical non dangerous goods. Keep stored in cool dry ventilated warehouse, sealed package, avoid moisture high temperature and direct sunlight. Prevent drum breakage during handling and transport. Shelf life is 2 years under proper storage. COA can be offered with each shipment, free sample available for quality test.
