L81 is a typical propylene glycol-initiated ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer nonionic surfactant with the CAS number 9003-11-6, featured by ultra-low HLB value of 2.5, outstanding low foaming performance, low biological toxicity, excellent defoaming, emulsification and lubricating properties, favorable chemical stability and compatibility with most solvents and other surfactant raw materials. Thanks to its unique hydrophilic and hydrophobic structure, L81 is an essential raw material to produce low-foam and high detergency industrial synthetic cleaners, and it works as high-efficiency antifoaming agent to eliminate unwanted foam in papermaking industry and biological fermentation production process effectively. In metal processing industry, L81 can be compounded into metal cutting fluid and grinding fluid to play the role of cooling agent and lubricant, improving workpiece finish and extending tool service life. Meanwhile, this block polyether is widely used as auxiliary chemical for oilfield exploitation, applied for crude oil demulsification and pipeline wax inhibition to prevent paraffin deposition inside oil delivery pipelines and assist secondary crude oil recovery. The finished L81 product is available in 200kg iron drum and 50kg plastic pail packaging; it should be stored in dry, cool and ventilated warehouse in accordance with common chemical storage and transportation standards, with a guaranteed shelf life of 2 years under proper preservation conditions. In addition, our L81 can fully replace imported original Pluronic L81 products to help clients cut down procurement cost while keeping consistent application performance.
