Antioxidant RD
Jienuo
Product Advantage
Broad Compatibility & Temperature Adaptability: It is compatible with almost all elastomers, including natural rubber and synthetic rubbers like nitrile, butadiene, and ethylene-propylene rubber. With a wide temperature application range, it maintains stable performance in diverse working environments, meeting the anti-aging needs of rubber products under different temperature conditions 4. Its boiling point exceeds 315°C and melting point ranges from 72-94°C, ensuring thermal stability.
Long-Term Thermal Aging Resistance: Due to its good continuity in rubber, the rubber compound with Antioxidant RD gains long-term resistance to thermal aging. Its high molecular weight reduces migration in the rubber matrix, avoiding "spray frost" issues—even when the dosage reaches 5 parts, no frosting occurs, which helps maintain the rubber's performance over time.
Heavy Metal Catalysis Inhibition: It can effectively prevent rubber degradation catalyzed by heavy metals, a key advantage that protects rubber products from premature aging caused by heavy metal contaminants in the environment or during production, extending the products' service life.
Favorable Vulcanization & Crosslinking Performance: Generally, it does not affect the vulcanization characteristics of natural and synthetic adhesives. In peroxide-vulcanized EPDM and NBR compounds, it not only provides excellent heat resistance but also has little impact on crosslinking density, with a typical dosage of 0.25-2.0 parts for such applications.
Flexible Dosage & Cost-Effectiveness: For dry glue applications, it serves as the main antioxidant with a dosage of 0.5-3.0 parts; for light-colored products (no discoloration allowed), the dosage is ≤0.5 parts. In latex applications, the dry base dosage is 0.5-2.0 parts. This flexible dosage range allows precise matching of anti-aging needs while controlling costs .

Product Uses
Tire Manufacturing: It is a common antioxidant for tires, especially suitable for tire treads and other parts under dynamic conditions. When used with antioxidants like 4010NA or AW, it enhances the tire's resistance to heat, oxygen, and fatigue, adapting to the high-temperature and frequent friction environment of tires.
Rubber Hose & Tape Production: Applied in manufacturing rubber hoses and tapes, it resists heat-oxygen aging, preventing the products from hardening, cracking, or leaking due to long-term use, ensuring their durability in industrial and daily scenarios .
Wire & Cable Sheathing: Used in rubber sheathing of wires and cables, it protects the sheathing from heat-oxygen and environmental factors, maintaining the sheathing's insulation and mechanical properties, which is crucial for the safe operation of wires and cables.
Elastomer Products for Special Scenarios: In peroxide-vulcanized EPDM and NBR compounds (e.g., industrial seals), it provides excellent heat resistance, making these elastomer products suitable for high-temperature working environments like industrial pipelines.
Latex Products (With Slight Coloring Allowed): For latex products where slight coloring is acceptable, its powder dispersion can be used. With a dry base dosage of 0.5-2.0 parts, it adds anti-aging properties to latex products such as certain rubber gloves.
For dry glue: Use RD as main antioxidant (0.5-3.0 parts). For light-colored products (no discoloration), limit to ≤0.5 parts. It won't affect vulcanization of most rubbers but may reduce neoprene adhesive storage stability. For latex (slight coloring allowed): Apply RD powder dispersion, 0.5-2.0 parts dry base. For peroxide-vulcanized EPDM/NBR: Use 0.25-2.0 parts for heat resistance. Pair with 4020 for ozone/flexural fatigue resistance
