Propoxylated Bisphenol A (CAS 62617-47-4) is reactive polyether synthesized from bisphenol A and propylene oxide. Detailed Product Description

Bisphenol A Polyoxypropylene Ether (Propoxylated Bisphenol A, CAS 62617-47-4) belongs to reactive propoxylated polyether. It is produced via ring-opening polymerization of bisphenol A and propylene oxide without solvent addition. Different molecular weight grades are available to match different formulation demands.

Different from ordinary surfactants, it participates in crosslinking reaction during resin curing rather than simple physical blending. It effectively enhance elongation at break, impact resistance and anti-hydrolysis performance of finished products. Widely adopted in high-end polyurethane systems, anti-corrosion coatings and structural adhesives. Strict filtration process ensures clear appearance and stable quality for industrial continuous production and export orders.

Applications

  1. Polyurethane Industry

    Used for PU elastomer, PU waterproof coating, PU sealant and casting PU resin. Improve tensile property, low-temperature flexibility and hydrolysis resistance.

  2. Epoxy & Composite Materials

    Modifying epoxy resin and unsaturated polyester, boost toughness, decrease internal stress, apply for anti-corrosion resin and FRP products.

  3. Coating & Adhesive

    Serve as toughening intermediate for solvent-free coating, structural adhesive and potting glue. Optimize adhesion to metal and plastic substrates.

  4. Electronic Fine Chemicals

    Applied in electronic encapsulant, insulating potting material for better thermal stability and mechanical property.

Packaging, Storage & Transportation

Standard packing: 25kg plastic drum, 200kg iron drum; IBC tank available upon request. Each batch comes with COA certificate.

Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption.

Classified as ordinary chemical, non-dangerous goods for shipping. Avoid inversion, heavy collision, rain exposure during transport. Do not load together with strong oxidants, strong acid and alkali.
