Chlorinated paraffin emulsifier
Jienuo
Product Advantage
Exceptional Emulsifying Performance:It is a composite of multiple surfactants and co-emulsifiers, belonging to non-ionic surfactants. It exhibits unique emulsifying abilities for various paraffin products, including fully refined, semi-refined, and crude paraffin, as well as chemical wax and soap wax. With a solid content of ≥92%, it ensures strong and stable emulsifying effects.
Wide Solubility and Dispersion:The emulsifier disperses well in hot water and dissolves in common organic solvents, which expands its application scope in different processing environments. This excellent solubility and dispersion make it easy to mix with other materials during production.
Stable and Fine Emulsion Preparation:Emulsions made with this product are fine and stable. When following the correct process, it can produce white and fine emulsions with blue light, which have good storage stability and can meet the long-term use needs of related industries.
Controllable Emulsification Process:The recommended dosage is 12%, providing a clear reference for production. The step-by-step water-adding process (slow addition within 50KG water, then accelerated) allows for precise control of the emulsion particle size and state, ensuring product quality consistency.
Convenient Detection and Quality Assurance:There are clear detection methods for both the emulsifier itself and the finished emulsion. For example, the emulsifier shows white water spots with blue light after adding water, and the finished emulsion presents a blue translucent state in water, enabling quick quality inspection and ensuring qualified products.

Product Uses
Metal Processing Industry:The stable chlorinated paraffin emulsion prepared by this emulsifier can be used as a lubricant or coolant in metal processing. It provides good lubrication to reduce friction between tools and workpieces, improves processing accuracy, and also has a certain cooling effect to protect equipment and workpieces.
Flame Retardant Industry:It is widely used in the flame retardant industry. The emulsion can be added to materials such as plastics, rubber, and textiles to enhance their flame retardant properties. It forms a protective layer during combustion, inhibiting the spread of flames and reducing the release of harmful gases.
Chemical Coating Field:The fine emulsion can be used as an additive in chemical coatings. It improves the compatibility of paraffin with other coating components, enhances the film-forming performance of the coating, and gives the coating properties such as water resistance and wear resistance.
Leather and Textile Processing:In leather processing, it can be used as a softener to make leather soft and smooth. In textiles, it can act as a finishing agent to improve the fabric's hand feel, wrinkle resistance, and water repellency, expanding the functionality of textiles.
⑴ Add 12KG of chlorinated paraffin emulsifier to 100KG of chlorinated paraffin, stir thoroughly to obtain a transparent emulsion;
⑵ While stirring, drop in water in batches of 5KG each, with a 1-minute interval;
⑶ It is essential to note: within 50KG of water volume, the dripping speed must be slow; otherwise, a smaller particle size emulsion cannot be obtained;
⑷ After adding a certain amount of water, the material changes from transparent to milky white and emits blue light, and the viscosity increases sharply at this time. At this point, ensure the overall uniformity of the stirring to ensure that the material successfully transitions from an oil-in-water state to a water-in-oil state;
⑸ After 50KG of water volume, you can appropriately increase the water addition speed. At this time, the material should have passed the most viscous stage and gradually become less sticky and thicker, with a blue glow appearing on the inner wall;
⑹ Determine the water addition amount based on the emulsion concentration until a white and fine emulsion with blue light is obtained. (For reference)
Emulsifier test:
Mix 2 grams of emulsifier with 10 grams of paraffin wax, then add 5 drops of water to it. The surface of the emulsion will show a white with blue tint water spot.
Grade A product inspection:
Take a small drop of the prepared emulsion and add it to a beaker containing 100ml of water. It should form a beautiful, translucent emulsion of a bluish color.
