Superior Emulsifying Efficiency for O/W Systems: AEO-20 (MOA-20) features an HLB value of 16.5-17.5, making it ideal for oil-in-water (O/W) emulsification. It can stably disperse mineral oils, vegetable oils, and waxes into aqueous phases, with an emulsion stability rate of over 98% after 72 hours of static storage—ensuring long-lasting uniformity in formulations.
Excellent Water Solubility and Dispersion: Unlike low-molecular-weight AEO series products, AEO-20 dissolves completely in water at room temperature, forming a clear solution without sediment. Its dispersion time in water is less than 3 minutes, which significantly shortens the mixing process in industrial production and reduces energy consumption.
Outstanding Compatibility with Other Ingredients: It exhibits strong compatibility with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants, as well as polymers and additives. This flexibility allows it to be blended into complex formulations (e.g., high-concentration detergents, cosmetic creams) without causing phase separation or performance degradation.
High Purity and Low Impurity Content: With a water content of ≤0.8% (lower than the industry average of 1.0%) and a Pt-Co color value of ≤15, AEO-20 ensures minimal impurities. Stable Performance Across Temperature Ranges: It maintains stable emulsifying and wetting properties in a temperature range of 5℃-60℃. Product Uses
Cosmetics and Personal Care: As a key emulsifier in facial creams, lotions, and body washes, it helps blend oil-based active ingredients (e.g., plant extracts, vitamins) with water-based phases, ensuring a smooth texture and good skin absorption.
High-Concentration Liquid Detergents: It is added to high-efficiency liquid detergents (especially for clothing and dishwashing) to enhance dirt-removing ability. Its good detergency and foaming stability make it effective in both hard and soft water.
Textile Industry (Fabric Finishing): Used in textile finishing processes as a wetting agent and emulsifier for softeners. It helps uniformly disperse silicone-based softeners on fabric surfaces, improving fabric softness and wear resistance without affecting color fastness.
