The EH series offers multiple grades with varying HLB values, cloud points, and appearances to suit different application needs:
Low HLB Grades (EH-3 / EH-6 / EH-9): These grades have lower HLB values (11.3–15) and are suitable for applications requiring strong wetting and emulsifying properties. They are widely used in hard surface cleaning and household detergents to enhance grease removal performance.
High HLB Grades (EH-15 / EH-40): With higher HLB values (16.7–18), these grades exhibit excellent water solubility and stability. EH-15 is commonly used as a brightening agent in electroplating (especially in acidic tin and zinc plating electrolytes), while EH-40 can replace NP/TX-40 as an eco-friendly wetting agent in paper, leather, and coating industries.
