Palm wax emulsifier is a type of surfactant specifically designed to uniformly disperse palm wax in the aqueous phase. It dissolves in hot water and general organic solvents, has good emulsifying/lubricating properties, and is widely used to prepare palm wax emulsions, with a 2-year shelf life.

Product Operate Guide

  1. Add the emulsifier to palm wax (emulsifier dosage = 25% of palm wax mass), then mix and heat until both melt completely.

  2. Pour 80-90℃ hot water into the melted mixture, stir thoroughly to blend evenly.

  3. Keep the mixture warm at a suitable temperature for 20-30 minutes.

  4. Let the mixture cool down naturally. Finally, you'll get a stable blue-light emulsion (general solid content: 20-30%).

  1. Q: What if I use less than 25% of the emulsifier relative to palm wax?
    A: Using less than 25% may reduce emulsification efficiency. It might fail to form a stable blue-light emulsion, leading to delamination or uneven dispersion of palm wax in water.
  2. Q: Can the prepared emulsion be stored for a long time?
    A: The product itself has a 2-year shelf life, but the prepared emulsion's storage depends on conditions. It's recommended to use it promptly; if stored, keep it sealed in a cool, dry place and check for delamination.
